I
recently contracted with Eric Faulkner, of Faulkner Fence Company, to
install 748 sq ft of retaining wall, 134 x 6 ft of concrete block
fence and 152 x 4 feet high of wrought iron fence which also
included stucco coating on all retaining walls and block fence.
I was provided with a written estimate in detail as to what
we agreed. He further stipulated that once the job was
completed, he and I would go over all the work completed to be sure
that the job was done to my satisfaction, including measurements, to
insure that the quote was accurate. We agreed that I would
only be charged for actual footage of the completed project.
A projection start date was agreed based upon the progress of a
swimming pool that I was having built at the same time.
Eric kept in contact with me weekly for an update on the
progress of the pool. When the time came, I informed him
that I was ready. He provided me with a start date to commence
within the following week and he would contact me to advise
the exact date. On the start date, Eric and his crew arrived at the
stated time. Eric went over every detail with the foreman while
the crew set up. They worked hard every day and only stopped for a
couple of breaks. At the end of the work day, they cleaned up
after themselves and placed their tools in a specific area for the
following day. They were always polite and greeted me each
day. If I needed something changed or added, it was never
questioned. Eric was in contact with me daily either in person or
by telephone. He would confirm with me that everything was going
well with my project. He was always polite, friendly and a
perfectionist when it came to the quality of workmanship by his
crew.
Of all the contractors that I have had to deal
with since my move for Northern California to Arizona, Faulkner
Fence Company is a company that you can trust and rely upon
in getting the job done and getting it right the first time. This
company does not shortcut any work and will follow the guidelines,
or better, set by an engineer or building code. I would highly
recommend this company to anyone looking for masonry projects or
wrought iron fencing.
